Radio Mirchi & Tata Indicom Talent Hunt

MUMBAI: To enhance the excitement of the forthcoming Tata Indicom Mirchi Music Awards, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and Tata Indicom present the grand Tata Indicom Talent Hunt... contest for aspiring singers in India.

Aimed at identifying a combination of ideal voice, spunk and X factor, the contest is all set to roll out across 23 key locations in India. Beginning March 14, 2009, Radio Mirchi & Tata Indicom will invite entries for participation in this unique contest that will ultimately enable the winner to attend as well as perform at the 1st ever Tata Indicom Mirchi Music Awards, the awards dedicated to celebrating excellence and felicitating deserving artistes in the music industry.

To register, contestants will need to dial in the TATA Indicom IVR number 129666 and record a song of their choice. Moving on to the next stage, the best of the short listed voices from the 23 cities will be called in to compete. Radio Mirchi will also organise on-ground activities from March 18 to 23 in six cities namely Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kolkata & Pune. After qualifying in various entertaining rounds, the finalists will compete to select a winner.

What's more? The lucky winner will attend the grand Tata Indicom Mirchi Music Awards Night and will get an exclusive opportunity to interact with not just the eminent jury but also the Bollywood biggies at the venue.

The 23 chosen markets for sending the on-air audition entries include Jaipur, Jalandhar, Delhi, Raipur, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Patna, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Nasik and Kolkata.
