Times Music has launched Sadguru - a humble reverence to our Gurus, the album Sadguru was launched by Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia.

Meaning �teacher' or �guide', a Guru is an enlightened soul who imparts wisdom and knowledge to disciples. The word Guru originates from the Sanskrit words �Gu' (darkness) and �Ru' (light). As the words suggest, a Guru eliminates darkness in a disciple's life and illuminates it with positive energy.

This album is a dedication to Dattatreya, considered as one of the first Gurus and a reincarnation of the holy trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, and also to all other gurus who have, are, and will continue to empower disciples with the knowledge, wisdom, values, and dedication to realize their true selves, and enable them to the path of God-realization.
