Intl EDM artiste Fat Boy Slim to tour India

MUMBAI: After the riveting performance of David Guetta and Katy Perry, international music sensation ‘Norman Quentin Cook’ aka ‘Fat Boy Slim’ is all set to enthrall audience with his maiden tour in India.

Organized by 6th Dimension, ‘Fat Boy Slim Live in Concert’ will be held from 4 May 2012. The tour details are yet to be announced.

Speaking about the Indian tour, Fat Boy Slim said, “It’s amazing to know that a culturally enriched country like India is opening up to different genres of music and am very happy to learn that there is such a huge demand for my kind of music. This is going to be my very first time in India and am looking forward to meet like-minded people from the music industry. It will be amazing to experience the country’s culture and put on an energetic show that will give audiences a feeling they have never experienced before.”

Pioneering in the big beat genre, Fat Boy Slim will perform  his chartbusters like Weapon of Choice, Praise You, The Rockafeller Skank, Right Here Right Now, Brimful Of Asha, Blame It on the Bassline, Champion Sound, That Old Pair of Jeans and Everybody Needs a 303.

Fat Boy Slim is well acclaimed British EDM artiste, DJ and record producer who has produced some chart busting albums like Better Living through Chemistry, You've Come a Long Way, Baby,  Why Try Harder and more. He has performed along with renowned artiste like Housemartins, Beats International and Freak Power. He has also won several awards like MTV Awards, Brit Awards and Ivor Novello Award also including a star on the city of Brighton's Walk of Fame.

He has performed in the world’s most renowned music fests like Glastonbury Festival, O2 Wireless Festival, Cool Britannia FIFA World Cup Music Festival, Detroit's Electronic Music Festival and more.
