MUMBAI: MTV's new offering is its new reality series Kurkure Desi Beats Rock On with MTV, that captures the entire process of the hunt for India's new Desi Rock Band.

Kailash Kher, Ram Sampath, and MTV VJ Nikhil Chinapa will judge the participants of this new hunt, that comes close on the success of MTV's latest season of the Roadies. If you are one of those rockstars in need of a band but have never known where to look, you can try your luck here.

The grand prize includes an album deal with India's leading record label, T-series, a music video produced by MTV, plus a mega concert besides state of the art instrument set. The interesting part is that the show's not limited to singers alone.

It's for instrumentalists as well - right from guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, violin, trumpet, dhol, sarangi, flute, tabla, or even a thaali, says the official statement.

The auditions will take place in four cities - Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. The audition venues have arranged intruments like guitar, bass, drums, tabla, keyboard, harmonium, microphone only
