Salim-Sulaiman to perform live at FIFA

MUMBAI: Composers Salim-Sulaiman has collaborated with two top RnB South African Singers Loyiso Bala and Eric Wainaina to record the anthem for FIFA World Cup 2010.

The song have been penned by Salim's wife Jeanne Merchnat- a singer and musician herself. They are also performing the same at the opening event of FIFA on 10 June 2010 at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg. Comments Salim, "It is definitely an honour to get the opportunity to perform at such a huge platform. In fact besides this anthem, we are also going to sing our song
Shukran Allah from Kurbaan with Loyiso and Eric. Music knows no boundaries."

Later they will also be performing for the fund raising Concert of Nelson Mandela Foundation, a trust that is actively working towards providing medical assistance for corrective surgery of cleft lip and palate and bringing a smile on the faces of children   

Loyiso Bala is one of South Africa's top R&B artists. He is winner of multiple awards, including 3 SA Music Awards, 2 Metro FM awards and GQ's Best Dressed Awards etc.

Eric Wainaina, one of the notable and successful singers from Kenya, has been associated with many charity events and has sung popular songs dedicated to African and international issues.
