Venus unveils the music of 'Rascals'
MUMBAI: Venus Tapes & Records has released music of Sanjat Dutt's first production Venture �Rascals'.
The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and penned by Anvita Dutt and Irshad Kamil. The album consists of six songs crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan, Neeraj Shridhar, Daler Mehndi, Monali Thakur and Haji Springer.
The occasion was graced by Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Chunky Pandey, David Dhawan, Lisa Hayden, Ganesh Jain, Champak Jain and Ratan Jain of Venus Records.
Speaking on the music, director David Dhawan said, Vishal-Shekhar have composed music keeping in mind the theme of Rascals, and blending together their creativity with my kind of music."
Ganesh Jain of Venus Tapes & Records said, The film Rascals is a vintage David Dhawan affair with non-stop masti and hungama on screen. The starcast is topnotch and the fun and frolic elements will rule the making of the film and its showcasing later on post release. The music score will have the unmistakable stamp of Venus....
The movie is slated to release on 6 October.
