MUMBAI: The National Football League (NFL) is keen to reprise singer Bruno Mars for the Super Bowl’s golden anniversary.
Mars previously headlined the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show in 2014.
The 29-year-old has been offered to headline the halftime show for the big game slated to take place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on 7 February, 2016, reports ew.com.
In 2014, ‘The just the way you are’ hitmaker brought out special guest Red Hot Chili Peppers for the event, which went on to become the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history after drawing 115 million viewers.
The record was later broken by Katy Perry whose performance this year attracted 121 million viewers.
There is still no official word if Mars will accept the offer. Representatives for Mars and the NFL have not respond to the news.
