MUMBAI: Javed Ali, one of Bollywood's finest playback singers, has turned composer.

The singer refused to divulge any further details, But he did confirm that the single will be out in a fortnight.
The 'Kun Faya Kun' singer made the revelation to Radioandmusic.com at Whistling Woods International's 5th Veda Session on Thursday, 20 October 2016.
At the session, the singer shared some anecdotes from his real life music experiences. "I liked answering the questions that the students asked. I also shared my stories with them. I believe that when you share, things increase," stated the 'Jashn- E-Bahaara' singer.
He added, "The students are extremely talented. I heard a rhythmic session. Their knowledge of music is good."
Talking about his association with filmmaker Subhash Ghai he averred, "I had recorded 'Tu Muskura' from 'Yuvvraaj'. Subhashji holds a lot of love for musicians, something that I learned while singing for his film. He does not tell you the notes that he would want you to sing in, but he explains the character, that you are singing for, in such detail that you understand what he expects. Moreover, what I like about his film music is that all of them have a part of him in them."
Lastly, Ali who is loaded with Bollywood projects shared his thoughts on the growing independent music scene in India. "I am very happy to see the growth. Film songs have stars and a big canvas that gets them the reach. Independent music takes more time because it does not have support. I am happy that people are appreciating it."
