MUMBAI: Singer-composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee, who has released his non-film track Aainda, says he prefers composing songs rather than singing.
At a meet and greet session at the Hungama Office called Hungama Spotlight, he gave an insight into his career.
Starting his career in Bollywood with Jism 2 in 2012 with his composition of Abhi Abhi, he said it was filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt who recognized his talent.
Asked if he would choose composing or singing songs, he said in a statement: "I prefer composing more than singing. When I am composing, I have the chance to stay alone and create something."
"The best part of the process is that I get to do it alone. When it comes to singing there are other people and other steps involved, especially for Bollywood music."
"Aainda", an ode to idealistic love, features actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh with Italian actress Madalina in its video.
