MUMBAI: RJs making it to the big and small screens is not a recent phenomenon. This talented bunch has time and again proved their mettle. Thus, when it came to zeroing on the commentator for MTV Box Cricket League, the makers couldn’t think of anyone better than Fever FM’s, RJ Sidhu.
The RJ is a part of this seasons BCL an indoor cricket tournament between actors. “I have always loved cricket commentary. I make it a point to give my listeners a score update of Indian matches and IPL on the radio. So, when I got this opportunity on television my excitement knew no bounds,” said the RJ.
Sidhu has already begun shooting for BCL and the show will hit the TV screens from 26 February onwards. It will air Monday to Thursday 8-10 pm.
Currently, the RJ is juggling his radio show Nanachi Tang and BCL, but there are no complaints. “Well, my schedule of late has been hectic but when you get something that you really love, you somehow manage,” explained Sidhu.
RJ Sidhu fans will get to see a more entertaining version of him on the show as cricket is his passion and thought this is different, he’d still give it his best. “You’ll get to see RJ Sidhu with a twist,” he ends.
