MUMBAI: Tapping the regional music industry and promoting it in a big way is a treat. T-Series has stepped into the market of Punjabi music, one of the highly consumed music world-wide. With one after another hit songs, the label is also known into the Punjabi market along with Bollywood.

Recently, the label released a song on its Punjabi YouTube channel named T-Series Apna Punjab. The song Judaayi is a collaboration of a fresh team. The singer Harish Verma, composer MixSingh and lyricist Kulshan Sandhu are members who have recently stepped into the music scene.

The singer spoke about his collaboration with T-Series, “This is my first association with T-Series. The lyricist and Gurdas media who directed the video approached me and then this was offered to T-Series who loved the song. Everything just happened smoothly. I wanted a song with this label because they promote pretty well. My experience with them was a good one.”

“Punjabi music is consumed by everyone and everywhere. It is an honour of pride to know that a renowned label like T-Series is promoting Punjabi music and giving Punjabi singers at such a big platform,” he further added.

Harish is known in the Punjabi industry as an actor while singing is his passion. This is the third single released by Harish, while the other two were out under Speed Records.

“The song (Judaayi) was ready since five months but did not release as my Punjabi film was slated to hit the theatres. So we thought of coming up with the song once the film is in theatres because I did not wish to mix the promotions,” said the singer.

The singer is very happy with the response his song is receiving and is also in talks with the label for more songs to be release.
