MUMBAI: Bollywood celebs featuring on magazine covers is a common thing, but it’s rare to see singers/musicians pose on them. The latest music industry name to have featured on magazine cover is Shankar Mahadevan. The singer-composer was see on the latest edition of Urbane magazine. The shoot was done by ace Bollywood photographer Dabboo Ratnani.

The musician shared the same on his Twitter handle, where he thanked both Dabboo and Urbane team. He tweeted, “Thank you team URBANE for the cover feature...What an honour to shoot with Dabboo Ratnani! Thank you Abhishek and team, this truly a wonderful magazine with very high levels of aesthetics and content! Feel lucky to be part of it!”

Donning a white shirt while holding a mike in his hand, Shankar looks complete dapper on the magazine cover. The tagline flashing on the cover, along with him read, ‘The singing sensation never fails to strike the right chords.’ It actually defines the expertise of the musician, who holds a legacy of musical extravaganza to his name.

Meanwhile, Mahadevan is busy judging the music reality show, Rising Star 3, India’s first show with a live audience voting format. Punjabi singer, actor Diljit Dosanjh and singer Neeti Mohan are also on the judging panel of the show.
