MUMBAI: Seven of the world’s polluted cities are in India, which is a bitter truth that one has to gulp into their system. While several campaigns, foundations have had stood up against air pollution, many singers like Javed Ali, Harshdeep Kaur, Aman Trikha, Meiyang Chang also voiced against the serious issue. The newest addition to the list is Sunidhi Chauhan, who has also pledged on the similar lines.
Sunidhi will be vouching for clear pollution free air as she joins United Nations and Bhamla Foundation’s campaign on 5 June 2019 in Mumbai.
She took to Twitter and shared about the same while giving a message to the audience. She tweeted, "Clean air is our right, this year the ministry of environment, United Nations and Bhamla Foundation have pledged to solve a serious issue which is air pollution. Danger levels of pollution claim more lives as compared to other diseases like high BP, Diabetes, malnutrition so many diseases. Soon our future will witness humans struggling for clean fresh air and before we hit that stage you must take appropriate measures to clean the air pollution and bring about a healthy change in our lives. So come and join me on 5 June at Carter Road Mumbai to be a part of this campaign for a pollution free country.”
