MUMBAI: Lucas & Steve are back with another absolute stormer for Spinnin’ Records, continuing their amazing run of form which has seen them rack up millions of plays and downloads this year.

Another typically mesmerising exercise in melodic beauty, ‘Love On My Mind’ is once again in their rich vein of emotion-charged, riff-heavy productions. A heavenly, saccharine plucked synth riff in the first break recalls classic 8-bit gaming melodies while warm bass and lush pads create the atmospherics. A classic disco vocal line gets resung sweetly as chords punctuate and on-beat snares create the build intensity. The main riff mutates into a distorted beast of a hook as piano chords thicken the body of the track in the drop, with addictive fills and soaring vox FX taking the track higher still. They’ve somehow managed to outdo themselves yet again.

The track received its radio premiere on Don Diablo’s Hexagon show to amazing reactions, with the preview clips receiving over 1.1 million plays in their first 11 days. It’s another exciting moment in what’s been another huge month for the duo, with their massive 'Summer On You' recently certified platinum in the Netherlands just two months after release and gigs including playing at Ushuaïa alongside Axwell & Ingrosso. This year during Amsterdam Dance Event they will perform at Spinnin’ Sessions, Sam Feldt presents Heartfeldt & Friends, AMF presents SLAM! Mixmarathon, Vato Gonzales presents Dirty House: Strictly Deep Sounds and will host their own event ‘Skyline Sessions’.
