LG unveils Cookie Fresh and Cookie Plus
MUMBAI: LG has made two more addition to its Cookie range of handsets with LG Cookie Plus (LG GS500) and Cookie Fresh (LG GS290).
The duo is launched by LG with a tag "cartoon-styled" user interface which it calls as called LiveSquare. The handsets offer 18 colorful themes which the customers can use as per their personal preferences. Both the phones support social networking applications including Twitter and Facebook and come installed with Weather application supporting maximum of 40 on screen widgets.
The GS500 is a 3G smartphone featuring a 3-megapixel camera with digital zoom and is 3G enabled. One distinctive feature of Cookie Plus is its capture-edit-send feature that enables the users to edit photos by drawing or writing on them before sharing them on MMS. Its other features include MPEG 4 video and MP3 audio playback support with FM tuner.
The GS290 comes with a 2-megapixel camera and only 2G. Additionally, it flaunts features such as 3-inch 240x400 pixel resistive touchscreen, FM radio and a 3.5mm audio socket. The phone is posted to come in as many as 16 colour variations.
The phones will hit markets in more than 60 countries worldwide amongst and is expected to hit the UK stores fairly soon The pricing is still not known but is expected to be around.
