Samsung brings Corby TXT to India

MUMBAI: After launching Corby Mate, Samsung has now launched Corby TXT in India. The handset boast of a QWERTY keypad is meant for heavy �texters'.

The handset elevates messaging and emailing experience with features like buddy list, chat style SMS, easy Email set up wizard, instant chat messenger and popular SNS sites. The Corby handsets support the various social networking community sites by integrating User Generated Content sites such as YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket and other SNS sites like Facebook, MySpace and Friendster.

Samsung Electronics Director IT & Telecom Ranjeet Yadav said, These phones are designed to meet the heavy messaging needs of youth, with their QWERTY keypad for quick messaging access, easy email set up and quick access to popular social networking sites. The focus with the Corby series been to offer our consumers choice: choice in terms of the colour of the handset, choice over how they stay connected and choice over the features and functionality that best suit their unique personalities and needs to stay connected....

The Corby TXT (B3210) allow users to update their current status and access friends' updates, live feeds Facebook, MySpace and Twitter through pop-up SNS. The B3210 features quick launch buttons on the front of the handset offering instant access to key functionalities including music player, camera and messaging application.

The handset is available at Rs 7900.
