Samsung launches B5722 in India

MUMBAI: Samsung has announced the launch of Samsung B5722, new dual SIM (GSM+GSM), touch screen mobile phone in Indian market.

The phone has 2.8 inches TFT capacitive touch screen with 256K colors. It also uses TouchWiz Lite v1.0 user interface, which was featured in the Samsung Corby series before. With 30 MB internal memory, Stereo FM radio with RDS, FM recording, the phone has microSD card slot which allows expanding memory up to 8GB. It is also armed with 3.2 mega pixel camera with LED flash and built-in Image Editor function. Samsung uses Digital Natural Sound Engine ( DNSe) sound technology in this handset.

The handset has a 3-page extended menu for easy and convenient access with a tap of the finger as well as while switching SIM card use. Samsung Communities allow users to upload photos, links and update status messages on social networking services which includes, Picasa, Friendster, Facebook, Myspace,Photobucket and Flicker.Also GTalk, AIM, ICQ, and Palringo Chat are all available through the Palringo platform. For mobile security the handset has a mobile tracker, it is the firstdual SIM mobile which has this type of facility.

Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery has up to 400 hrs standby and up to 4 hrs 30 min talktime. The dual SIM handset is available in hues of dark brown and pink colors at a price of Rs. 11,680.
