MUMBAI: Samsung announced the new Metro 5200 for Indian markets. A slider phone, this device fortunately doesnt go the Corby way like the slurry of other Samsung phones.

Metro 5200 is a slim slider phone that boasts of not so spectacular features like a 2.1-inch 16M (240 320) color screen, FM Radio with RDS. The phone also supports a music player and office docs. For the storage junkies, it offers 50MB internal memory with microSD card slot up to 8GB. The sales package comes bundled with a 1GB card that should suffice for most users. The 800mAh gives a 5 hour talk time.

With a 3.2 megapixel unit, LED flash and face detection, this phone doesn't really cost a bomb. The phone is prices at Rs. 7,439.
