Samsung launches Xplorer B2100 phone

Samsung has announced the launch of its Xplorer B2100 phone.

The low-end handset is said to be rough and tough as it is capable of enduring extreme shock and temperature variations. It can last for up to 30 minutes in water, one meter deep.

This is a Quad band device with EDGE support. Sporting a 1.8 inch 120*160 pixel screen, it comes with a music player and FM Radio with RDS. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support. It also comes with a decent 1.3-megapixel camera and 7MB of memory for storage.

It weighs 103 grams. The phone will be available for sale starting next month at a price tag of Rs 6,800 in India.
