MUMBAI: Riding high after the phenomenal success of their debut album Ampersand, Adil and Vasundhara will now feature in a special gig for the Delhi leg of the Point of View and Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal India Tour 2013.

Catch the duo perform live at Hard Rock Café New Delhi, on 14 June as they team up with Surojit Dev (Them Clones drummer) and members of Parikrama and Indian Ocean for the Delhi leg.

The likes of Warren Mendonsa, Bruce Lee Mani, and hard rock band Krosswindz guitarist Vikramjit Banerjee will be jamming with them in Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkattta (respectively).

Adil & Vasundhara:

Adil Manuel & Vasundhara Vidalur have often been called the New Jazz & Blues Ambassadors of India. They have had a significant role in trying to string together the music community in India and consolidate effort into bringing Jazz and Blues closer to the mainstream. Formed in 2009, Adil and Vasundhara’s musical spectrum spans Jazz Fusion, Funk, R’n’B, Blues and Gospel. Extensively working with artists based in India and abroad, their focus has been the creation of new sounds and energies through collaboration exchange and cross influence.

With a large bi-lingual repertoire of standards and original compositions, their shows have a mix of songs in French and English. In addition to their collaborations with numerous well known solo artists and bands in Delhi, they have worked with musicians from Turkey, France, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Argentina, Brunei, the Reunion Islands, the USA and counting.

Point Of View

This award-winning band from Dubai is heading to Indian shores to showcase their flavor of Rock to a new audience.Riding on top of a back to back 6 day tour that touches Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Calcutta.

Their India Tour is even more special as it features Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, the iconic guitar virtuoso who currently handles plays the lead guitar duties for the legendary Rock band Guns ‘N Roses. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is not only a close friend of Point Of View but has also officially endorsed their debut album ‘Revolutionize The Revolutionary’.

He joins Point Of View on this tour, to experience the underground scene in India and to explore India. The tour would feature Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal joining Point Of View on stage to rendition songs from Point Of View’s debut album. Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal would also be showcasing some of his own music on this tour and would be jamming songs from his solo albums such as Normal & Abnormal. A few G ’N’ R anthems will also be on the menu.
