MUMBAI: 92.7 BIG FM; the radio initiative of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited flagged off its Navratri festival celebrations from today with much fanfare. The nine day festival that honors Goddess Durga, will be celebrated on 92.7 BIG FM in a unique way. The Delhi radio station's focus on this Navratri will be â€?Delhi Secrets: Shehar mein 9 deviyon ki baat', that revolves around the strength of women. The concept will honor womanhood and recognize 9 female achievers who have gone beyond conventions and have left an indelible mark on the society.

The lady who led the anti-corruption movement from the front is the first devi on 92.7 BIG FM, Kiran Bedi.An ex-IPS officer, a role model to many young girls who wish to make a mark in the male  dominated profession. Rajni Abby, the mayor of Delhi will be the second Devi to be showcased on the station .  A specialist in commercial and consumer laws, Rajni leads the city by example and plans to make it a better place to live. Next Devi on 92.7 BIG FM is none other than the first lady of the state, Sheila Dikshit, the Chief Minister for a third consecutive term and is the second woman to hold the position. The other devi's on 92.7 BIG FM will include renowned singers and actors; women who in their own way are representative of shakti and benevolence at the same time.
