ESPN Audio and TuneIn Team Up, Bringing Comprehensive Sports Coverage to the World

MUMBAI: TuneIn, a free service that lets people listen to music, sports and news from around the world, today announced a strategic partnership with ESPN Audio, the nation's largest sports radio network. The relationship will enable millions of TuneIn listeners to enjoy a vast selection of live and on-demand sports programming. This offering commences with the availability of play-by-play coverage of the college football Bowl Championship Series games, which can be heard live through the TuneIn service in January.

"Our goal is to provide the best listening experience to the world, and we are delighted to include the most authoritative and respected voice in sports programming," said Kevin Straley, Vice President, Programming, TuneIn. "Making BCS games available to anyone with an Internet connection is an exciting way to begin our relationship with ESPN Audio. Now everyone can stay connected to their favorite teams and players whether they're at work or at home, out of the state or out of the country."

Beyond January's BCS games, TuneIn listeners will have access to all ESPN audio coverage, including live play-by-play games, and popular shows such as "SportsCenter," "Mike And Mike In The Morning," "The Herd With Colin Cowherd" and more. In addition to this national coverage, ESPN Radio on TuneIn will feature local programming from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Boston with shows including "The Michael Kay Show" and "ESPN New York." TuneIn will also feature on-demand shows such as "Fantasy Focus," football and baseball podcasts, "Sports Beat," "Extra Point" and Spanish language programs from ESPN Deportes like the popular "Jorge Ramos y Su Banda."

"It is exciting when we can advance our mission to provide new and different ways for sports fans to access ESPN Audio content," said Traug Keller, Senior Vice President, Production Business Divisions, ESPN, Inc. "This new relationship gives fans more opportunities to enjoy the ESPN Audio programs, personalities and play-by-play broadcasts that are most important to them through the broad reach offered by TuneIn."

Listeners on the free TuneIn service can access BCS games by either searching for "BCS" or browsing through the "Sports" menu during game time. TuneIn is available across all major smartphones, digital stereos, smart TVs and online at tunein.com.
