ETV Marathis Swar Sangram approaching to grand finale

MUMBAI: ETV Marathi's music reality show Swar Sangram is now drawing to a close, with it's four semi finalist-Ketaki Bhave, Ketan Patwardhan, Nachiket Desai, and Dipika Bhide battling it out. The semi final will be telecast on the 5 April at 9.00 pm on ETV Marathi.At the semi-final round held on the 1 April, the judges Sadhana Sargam, Mayuresh Pai and guest Judge Renuka Shahane had a hard time on deciding whom to eliminate.The singers had to undergo three rounds- Regional, duet and filmy masti which they performed with ease and dressed in a manner exactly as per the - in traditional or hip outfits. The eliminated singer came as a surprise to all.

The final round will be held on the 7 April, wherein the maestros of the music industry- music directors and lyricists and the who's who of the Marathi music Industry will be attending. Special guest judges would also be there to declare the final winner. According to the USP of the programme, the final winner - ?‹?“Swar Nayak / NAYIKA will be decided by the judges and not through SMS and only the popular singer ?“ ?‹?“Lokpriya Gayak category will however be decided by the number of SMS the four semi-finalists get.

Along with special skits, dances and a special performance by Sadhana Sargam, an original round ?“ ?‹?“Sing with the Celeb - will be held which will give a chance to the three contestants to perform with the original singer of a particular song. Also the ever popular and witty astrologer Sharad Upadhye will reveal some hidden traits about the contestants. For the first time in a Marathi reality show, the four finalists will record an album with Fountain Music which will be released on that day.

The event will also felicitate 15 of the top notch music directors and lyricists of the Marathi Industry as well as will honor the well known music director- Hridaynath Mangeshkar.

The grand finale of the Swar Sangram will be aired on ETC Marathi at 7.30 PM on 12 April.

Independent and well-known Marathi producer Madhvi Mutatkar has conceived and produced the show.
