Ghulam Ali Live In Concert û 'Ek Ehsaas'
MUMBAI: Tata Docomo the title sponsors of – Ghulam Ali, Live in Concert announced the launch of an exclusive event – ‘Ek Ehsaas’ at Shanmukhananda Hall, Sion, from 7 pm onwards; featuring a special live performance by the Ghazal maestro.
The live concert in association with Tata Docomo is with the purpose to support the Maharashtra drought relief areas. The concert a third in series attempts to raise funds for the drought victims among several other social causes.
The veteran Pakistani Ghazal singer is noted for his unique method of effortlessly blending Hindustani classical music with ghazals; unlike any other ghazal singer of his era. Highly acclaimed for his impeccable style and variations in singing; the veteran singer personifies the spirit of friendship between the two neighboring countries and has a huge following among ghazal enthusiasts.
He performed some of his all time favourite ghazals including ``Chup Ke Chup ke``, ``Hungama Hai Kyun Berpa``, ``Dil me ek lehar si uthi hai abhi``, ``Faasle to aise bhi`` among others.
The event being organised by musical concerts in and backed by Tata Docomo is a special effort for a noble cause and the sponsors firmly believe that the two-and-a-half hour show will definitely benefit the drought-affected villages of Maharashtra.
