Lesle Lewis reinvents himself with EDM album
MUMBAI: Singer-composer-ace guitarist Lesle Lewis and his leaders of the young brigade of musicians, Akshay and Karan Hariharan, Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan, Shane and Alyssa Mendonsa, Bindu and Ambi Subramaniam and Divya Lewis celebrated their coming together with an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) album with a simple cake-cutting ceremony at Studio 590 at Andheri, followed by a jamming session.
And it was indeed an occasion to celebrate. For, it marks the coming together of the children of Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa, Kavita Krishnamurthy-L Subramaniam and Leslie Lewis in an album conceptualised, composed by Lesle Lewis who will also render his vocals with the talented kids.
The album attempts to reinvent electronic dance music and combine it with Bollywood and will be yet another feather in the overcrowded cap of Lesle Lewis, the man who pioneered Coke Studio in India.
