AIR bags awards at International radio festival

MUMBAI: The FM Rainbow Channel of All India Radio, Jalandhar pocketed four �international awards' for its programme �Good Morning Punjab' at the 11th International Radio Festival in Iran.
 
All India Radio Jalandhar centre director S C Pawar told reporters that the programme "Good Morning Punjab!" aired by the station here has bagged four first prizes out of 10 in the morning category programmes. This was the fourth time that the All India Radio has won a prize in Iran, AIR Station Director B C Panwar.

The centre has won US$ 4500 as prize money. Among the winners include the centre's producer Navdeep Singh adjudged as the best producer. All India Radio Bangalore has won three, Panwar said.

Over 100 radio centres of 32 countries participated in the festival.
