MUMBAI: In order to be in pace with the new era of digital revolution, Euphoria will release its latest album �Item' on ArtistAloud.com's digital music property LaunchCast on Thursday 10 November 2011.

Euphoria's front man Dr. Palash Sen along with his band members will perform live on songs from �Item' like Ram Ali, C U Later, Mere Dost Mere Bhai, Akela and Item. Needless to mention, the band will also belt out �Dhoom Pichuk Dhoom' and �Maaeri', the two most popular non-Bollywood songs at the LaunchCast.

On the digital release of the album Palash Sen says, I am grateful that people from all walks of life are supporting Euphoria. Today everything has become money based that it is very difficult to break through. But Universal Music, Radio Mirchi and now ArtistAloud all have been a great source of help. The album �Item' highlights different issues faced in a common man's daily life. Item is the Navras of modern day India, an issue based album highlighting the nine items of the country. From politicians to pandit there are many kinds of item in the country and I have tried to showcase a few of these subjects like love, corruption, religion, separation and Item,... shares Palash Sen.

The physical format of the album was recently released worldwide on Universal Music and it has generated good response. Palash reveals, Item has done pretty well but it is difficult for a non-film album to make its space in the top charts. In times when only film music is released and heard, here we are with the non film music retort- ITEM. Euphoria is known for its lyrics and this is a thought provoking album. Apart from launching the album, the much awaited �Euphoria Story on Palash Sen' published by Harper Collins was also released on 4 November. The book is a biography on Dr. Sen which is written by Ashish Kate, one of his fan from Pune. The band's next project is a bollywood movie 'Mumbai Cutting' directed by Manish Jha, where Palash Sen also plays the lead role.
