Fever partners Cartoon Network for on-air contest

MUMBAI: Fever FM has partnered with kids television channel Cartoon Network for an on-air contest as a joint promotion for the television channel's School Contact Programme.

The contest which is on-air from mid July will continue for five weeks on the channel. Three chosen kids will then be trained by the station and they will get a chance to be on air along with Fever's RJs.

By targeting children we are targeting the parents as well. But our basic motive is providing exposure to these kids about the working mechanism of a radio station and train them as future RJ's,... says Fever national marketing head Neeraj Chaturvedi.

The station has also started a new show on its Delhi station called Khabardar'. The show is a humour capsule that throws light on a social cause in an exaggerated humorous way. The show which started a month ago, airs between six and seven pm.
