Radio Indigo bags Live Earth concert rights
Banglore: The much anticipated global music concert, Live Earth, will be broadcast live on Radio Indigo in Bangalore and Goa on 7 July 2007.
Radio Indigo, which claims to be the first and only international music station in the country, says it has bagged the exclusive rights to broadcast the concerts scheduled in different parts of the world. RJs Geoffrey Thomas, Rohit Barker, Cindu
Chandrasekharan, Ayesha D`Souza, Meghana Dhawan and Malavika will be linking with the different concerts across the UK, US, China, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Brazil and Germany on 07.07.07. The mammoths - Metallica, Bon Jovi, The Police, Madonna, Dave Mathews band, David Gray, Duran Duran, James Blunt, Linkin Park, UB 40, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Roger Waters, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Snow Patrol and many more of the 150 artistes live in concert can be heard on Radio Indigo on 07.07.07, 3pm onwards. Live Earth marks the beginning of a multi-year campaign to drive individuals, corporations and governments to take action to solve the climate crisis.
