Radio Indigo brings Bob Belden to Bangalore

MUMBAI : Radio Indigo, in association with Black Dog, is bringing yet another evening of jazz in Bangalore on 7 March at the Royal Orchid Hotel lawns.

'The Black Dog Jazz Incident' will present the Animation jazz band featuring Grammy Award winner Bob Belden with his group of accomplished musicians - Rocky Bryant, DJ Logic, Al Street and David Dyson.Saxophonist, arranger, producer Bob Belden has often been compared with the legendary producer Quincy Jones. The Animation jazz band has a line up of interesting virtuosos. Drummer Rocky Bryant is one of the most sought after drummers, having performed and/or recorded with Dianne Reeves (Grammy award winning CD), Peter Frampton, Maxwell and many more. DJ Logic is a turntablist active primarily in jazz and with jam bands. Guitarist Al Street frequently collaborates with the musicians Roy Dunlap, Ian Hendrickson-Smith, Alex Mincek, Adam Small, Charles Ruggiero, Jeremy Manasia & Adam Scone. Also performing would be David Dyson, a bassist, songwriter, arranger, and producer. With varied influences, the Animation band is set to bring an interesting evening for the city's jazz aficionados.

The Animation jazz band's performance comes soon after Black Dog and Radio Indigo brought the biggest International Jazz and blues festival - 'Indigo & Blues' to Bangalore in December.
