Saregama launches Lata Mangeshkar's marathi album 'Samagra'
MUMBAI: To celebrate 82nd birthday of the nightingale of India, Saregama has released music legend Lata Mangeshkar's marathi album �Samagra'.
�Samagra', a 17 CD pack is a collection of 345 marathi songs, in the divine voice of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. It consists of 232 film songs, 113 non film songs and 26 songs composed by Lata Mangeshkar/Anandghan. The pack also includes 42 rare songs for the first time in a CD format.
Some of the genres of the songs are Bhavgeet, Bhaktigeet, Abhang, Lavni, Folk, Deshbhakti, Immortal Ganpati Aarti and Dyaneshwar Maauli.
Along with Lata Mangeshkar, others present at the launch were brother Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar, eminent music composer Pt. Yashwant Deo, Saregama MD Apurv Nagpal and business head Adarsh Gupta.
