MUMBAI: Yash Raj Films (YRF) has lodged an FIR against ICC, BCCI and MCA officials for infringement of copyright of their songs during World Cup matches.

Haroon Lorgat (ICC Chief Executive), Dheeraj Malhotra (ICC joint secretary), Ratnakar Shetty (BCCI CAO), Hemant Waingankar and Lalchand Rajput (MCA joint secretaries) were among the officials against whom the complaint was registered under section 63 and 69 of Copyright Act,  the official told PTI.

The production house's authorized agency �Novex Communication' which issues licenses for use of film songs and promos at public events alleged that the songs from movies like Band Baaja Baraat and Chakde India, produced by Yashraj Films were played during the World Cup matches without permission.
