The Great Big Punjabi Wedding is an innovative concept album that serves the right kind of music for all the ceremonies that are observed during the Punjabi weddings. December being the season for marriages, this album 'serves the purpose' and has some brilliant singers like Jasbir Jassi, Pakistan's Rockstar Ustad Shafqat Amanat Ali and artistes who are outstanding exponents of their styles and genres such as classical singer Sunanda Sharma, ghazal diva Radhika Chopra, folk singer Balbir Chand (Beera) and the singer with the silver Madan Bala Sindhu, not to forget.. Runa Laila!! The album presents these singers in regional and contemporary flavors - bet you have never heard them before like this! 

Starting from Suhag,Dholak Geet, Mehndi, Vatna, Gharoli, Chura, Milni, Mehndi, Sehra Bandi... and of course the cocktails, whewww... you know most traditions have an endless list of customs when it comes to marriage. For peppy occasions such as the Sangeet and Mehndi, all time popular songs like  Hakim Tara Chand , Kala Sha Kala done can be heard (albeit, in youthful contemporary way) and why just Punjabi wedding's? since Punjabi music is largely accepted by all  (thanks to bollywood!) this one will find an easy connect with all - but of course... for those Punjabi's who are to shortly wed - this one is must have.

Most likely, this album saves cost on hiring a DJ because the entire album (with 7 CDs and one Karaoke DVD) costs Rs 1099 - a DJ will most like cost you ten times more!! Nor will you have to sift through countless tracks to find the right music. But thats not the only plus - did we mention it has a lyrics book inside? With close to 80 'relevant' songs for your wedding, this one's a highly recommended concept/theme album.
