Lady Gaga is the first performer to be announced for the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AID JAPAN, the tenth annual MTV Video Music Awards Japan (VMAJ) which is being staged as a live international music television event to benefit the Japanese Red Cross.

Saregama and Radio City launch 'Sarhadein'

MUMBAI: Music and entertainment company Saregama India Ltd  and Radio City 91.1 FM launched the album Sarhadein: Music Beyond Boundaries, at a star-studded event on Tuesday. Comprising rare solos and a duet by Lata Mangeshkar and Mehdi Hassan, Sarhadein: Music Beyond Boundaries also boasts of renditions by Usha Mangeshkar and Rekha Bharadwaj. Additionally, the album has songs sung by Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, Ghulam Ali and Sonu Niigaam. The lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar, with the opening poem by Pakistan's famed Farhat Shahzad. The music is composed by Mayuresh Pai.
