MUMBAI: After the success of the Micromax Canvas Spark, the company is set to launch a newer version of the smartphone in the form of the Micromax Canvas Spark 2. The device will be exclusively available on online shopping site- Snapdeal.

The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 features a 5 inch display, with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the device comes with 4GB storage internal storage and a microSD card slot, which enables further storage expansion to 32GB. The Canvas Spark 2 also has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. It includes a 1,800 mAh battery that can run for upto 300 hours on standby. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 20 Indian languages.

With dual SIM features, the Micromax Canvas Spark 2 offers other connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, USB, 3G and Wi-Fi. Available in black, the gadget is priced at Rs 3,999.

Registration for the device starts on 23rd September 2015 and will be available for sale on 30th September, 2015.
