Oppo announces Neo 7

MUMBAI: Oppo has unveiled a new smartphone- Oppo Neo 7, which is a successor to Neo 5. The smartphone has a 5-inch TFT display, with screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The smartphone supports dual-SIM cards with one Micro-SIM and another Nano-SIM, and supports 4G for better connectivity.

Neo 7 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which clocks in at 1.2GHz, coupled with Adreno 306 and 1GB of RAM. The handset has 16GB internal storage, and also has a microSD slot through which memory can be expanded up to 128GB.

The smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a light screen sensor which adjusts the screen brightness according to the light available for better picture quality. The Neo 7 also includes a 2420mAh non-removable battery, and weighs 141 grams.

Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, 3G, and GPS. The price of the device is not yet revealed.
