MUMBAI: Chinese tech manufacturer Xiaomi recently launched its latest offspring,the Mi Bluetooth speaker, along with the Redmi Note 3 in India. The company has so far succeeded in its endeavours with its 'cheap and best' policy. However, the device will have to compete with a dozen other Bluetooth speaker devices in the market to impress buyers.

Design
The beautiful body of the speakers can attract purchasers with its monolithic design and the product is available in different colours from funky blue, pink to elegant golden.
On the right of the speakers are the main controls and the weight of the device is 270 gms with dimensions of168x24.5x58mm.
Battery
The speaker, backed by a 1500mAh battery unit delivers up to eight hours of music playback on full charge.
Ports and Connectivity
The Bluetooth offers 4.0 connectivity, through which one can wirelessly connect the device with phone or tablet. It can support a distance of up to 15 meters.
Xiaomi has also connected a built-in mic that allows the users to make calls wirelessly when the device is connected to a smartphone. Another variant the Chinese company has added is a micro SD slot, which is exclusively available in the Chinese market but not in India.
One can also go for the AUX-in port to listen to music if you do not want to connect with a smartphone.
