HTC launches Desire 826 in India

MUMBAI: HTC's new smartphone, the Desire 826 that was unveiled at the CES this year, finally makes it to the Indian market.

The HTC Desire 826 features a 5.5-inch Super LCD 3 display with a FullHD resolution (1920x1080) which produces a pixel density of 401ppi. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor which is paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The device comes with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded to 128GB with a microSD card. The phone offers a 13 Megapixel primary camera and a 4 UltraPixel secondary camera that is similar to the one used in the HTC One M8.

For connectivity, the phone includes dual-SIM slots and has 4G compatibility. The front facing boom speakers feature the Dolby Audio technology, which is also featured on the company's flagship One M9. The phone features a standard 2600mAH battery that is said to last for more than 24 hours.

The HTC Desire 826 is available in India for a price of Rs 25,990.
