MUMBAI: Intex Technologies has launched a new affordable Android smart-phone called the Aqua V2. However, its availability in India has still not been declared.
The handset is powered by 1GHz single core 'Spreadtrum' (SC7715) processor coupled with 256MB of RAM, 104MB of inbuilt storage and an expandable storage via microSD card of up to 32GB. The Intex Aqua V2 also comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) display. On the flip side, there is a 2-megapixel camera, while the front-end a 0.3-megapixel camera. The phone runs on Google's Android 4.4 KitKat.
There is a 1300mAh battery that Intex claims to deliver up to 6-8 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. Connectivity wise, the phone is also said to support 3G networks, alongside connectivity options that include Wi-Fi, Dual-SIM, GSM, GPRS, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS options. The device has a 10.6 mm-thick polycarbonate body that weighs in at 112g.
The Intex Aqua V2 will be available in Black, Brown, and White colours. The handset is priced at Rs. 3,090.
