MUMBAI: Notion Ink, the Bangalore-based technology finally started sale of its first Windows 8.1 tablet called Notion Ink Cain 8, after listing the device as 'coming soon' a few days ago on Snapdeal.
The device features an 8-inch IPS display with 800×1280 pixels resolution and is powered by an Intel quad-core Z3735F processor (up to 1.83 GHz Burst Frequency, 1.33GHz Base Frequency) paired with 1GB of RAM. The device houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD. The tablet also has a 2-megapixel rear camera for photography and connectivity wise, the device includes a SIM card slot, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, a Mini-HDMI port and USB OTG connectivity.
The Notion Ink Cain 8 also comes with 1TB cloud storage and a one-year free subscription of Microsoft Office 365. The highlight of the device is 'On-Site Swap' warranty i.e. you do not have to leave your home or work place if anything goes wrong with the device. You will first be sent a new Cain 8 tablet from the company and later, the non-functional unit will be picked up from your address.
The Notion Ink Cain 8 will exclusively on retail on Snapdeal and the price of the device is Rs 9,990.
