When was the moment you fell in love with music? Do you remember the song which played when you decided that you want to pursue music as a career?

Even since childhood, I was into music. My parents always played all kinds of music in the house, and I grew up listening to music. I fell in love with writing music in college. ‘In the End’ by Linkin Park is the song which made me fall in love with this genre.

You will be performing on World Music Day for Vh1 & MTV in collaboration with Loreal, tell us more about the collaboration please and which songs can we expect you to perform to?

Vh1 is the platform that supports independent music, and I am very excited to perform for World Music Day. I will be singing ‘Citylife’ that is very close to me. I am very proud of this song of mine.

Why have you chosen these songs to perform to?

I feel like this is my best song and defines me as an artist. It talks about taking things slow and easy when citylife overwhelms you. This song is a celebration of citylife.

What’s your advice to budding musicians?

Enjoy the process and do not get stresses. Enjoy the learning process and do things for the love of it.

How do you draw the line between work and personal life? Do you disconnect from music or is it always a part of your life even when you’re not working?

I am very fortunate to be able to do music and so the line for me is very blurry. I have been eating, sleeping, and breathing this lifestyle for the last 7-8 years now. It is very hard to disconnect but that is the beauty. Your personal life reflects in music and vice-versa.

Where do you go to for inspiration?

Experiences and meeting new people are where I draw my inspiration from. A lot of my music is my observation of the world. I feel the more you travel and experience, the better you express. Reading more also helps me.

Since on-ground concerts are slowly rising, do you feel virtual concerts will still be in the business? Which do you prefer more, virtual or on ground concerts?

I love on-ground concerts since the connect is on a different level. Digital gigs provide larger audience and I feel that the future will be hybrid.

Tell us about a crazy fan moment you’ve had to deal with.

I had a song called ‘Am I overthinking this’ and post its release; I got a DM on my Instagram from someone who mentioned that this song changed their life. This was a huge thing for me. Parents have emailed me saying my music has been an inspiration for their kids.
