MUMBAI: It has been a year that pop superstar Taylor Swift would gladly look back to and take pride in. An eventful 2015 for Swift is set to enter its last month, but the singer continues to earn accolades as the months pass. According to internet radio giant iHeartRadio, the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker has become the leading artist in 2015, in terms of stations created by the users. The 25-year-old dominated the list in every state across America, except Missouri and Lousiana.
The data is part of iHeartRadio's annual roundup that revealed other statistics of the year too.
However, for most liked or most thumped track, Swift lost out to her singing bud Ed Sheeran for his hit track 'Thinking Out Loud' which received more likes than two of Swift’s tracks (Shake It Off and Blank Space) that followed Sheeran, making those tracks the top three.
Mark Ronson's 2014 hit 'Uptown Funk' topped the list of stations created using a particular track as a starter. Users can create custom radio stations based on the track they love and 'Uptwon Funk' was followed by Fetty Wap's 'Trap Queen' and Silento's 'Watch Me'.
The data also revealed the most liked genre of 2015 by iHeartRadio users was R&B, and The Weeknd played a huge role in its rise.
