MUMBAI: Rapper Lil Boosie’s insta post about his suffering from kidney cancer has come as a shock to one and all. The artist, who has been working on his music, was imprisoned from 2009 to 2014 for possession of Marijuana. He was released from Louisiana State Penitentiary in March 2014 where he wrote around 1,000 songs.
In his 25 November post Boosie captioned a photo of him eating, “I need all my fans to pray for me. Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys,” reported TMZ. The rapper even asked his fans to pray for him and he also suggested ‘prayfaboosie’ as the hashtag. However, a few hours later, the post was deleted, which as per the media reports was a call taken by Boosies’s team. It seems that the rapper’s team was not too happy with his revelation of the sad news.
Back in 2006, Boosie, whose real name in Torrence Hatch, had revealed that he was diabetic after the release of his studio album ‘Bad Azz’.
The 33-year-old is married to Walnita Decuir-Hatch, and the two has seven children - Iviona, Tarlaysia, Torrence Jr., Toriana, Lyric, Ivy Ray, and MJ Hatch.
