MUMBAI: All this while it was the Dutch DJ Hardwell’s team that was talking about his initiative -- United We Stand Foundation -- with his manager and CEO of Anna Agency- Anna Knaup. However, now the DJ himself is going all out. In his recent effort to attract more businesses and organisations to his ticket free concert on 13 December, 2015 in Mumbai, Hardwell wrote an open letter and uploaded it on his Facebook page.

In his letter, the DJ/ producer invited one and all to become a part of his initiative ‘United We Stand Foundation’ by attending the event titled, which is ‘The World’s Biggest Guest List’. He further requested everyone to donate towards education and a better future for children who belong to families living in poverty around the globe.

Hardwell also mentioned that India’s Entertainment Maverick, and philanthropist Shailendra Singh, have joined hands with United We Stand foundation. He revealed that his foundation has partnered with Magic Bus Programme - a Mumbai based non-profit organisation - that shares the DJ’s vision of taking care of underprivileged children.

The DJ, along with his team, was looking at supporting 3,000 children through his upcoming concert. However, the response has been so good that they have made triple the number so far- an achievement that Hardwell is really proud of.

Apart from the social cause, Harwell is also looking at setting a world record for holding the highest guest list at an event. Although he was aiming for 100,000 attendees, entries are said to have surpassed that number.

As reported earlier, those interested in attending Hardwell’s concert D.Y. Patil Stadium, need to register their names on Hardwell’s foundation website.
