MUMBAI: The Blind Relief Association will be presenting Khushi-Ek Ehsaas, a short musical play being performed by visually impaired children in New Delhi on 22 January.
Approximately 50 participants between the age of 7 to 17 years from the J.P.M Senior Secondary School for the Blind, will be on stage performing the musical play at Kamani Auditorium in New Delhi, read a statement.
Most of the children cannot see at all, while a few have very limited sight.
The play is in Hindi and involves acting, singing, dancing and an audio-visual performance.
The story unfolds through the eyes of Khushi - a cat, with several friends and siblings. It is a journey, which teaches the protagonist, Khushi and her friends all about life, and its lessons.
Dayalupur Ka Raja is the main anchor in the life of Khushi and her family and friends.
This is an indigenous production and has been scripted solely with the objective of a musical and theatrical performance by the students of the school.
The proceeds from the show will go to the Blind Relief Association, which is a not-for-profit organisation and has been involved in the welfare of the visually impaired for seven decades.
