MUMBAI: The Indian television series Yeh Hai Aashiqui that first aired on August 2013 on Bindass channel is set for a new season with all-new episodes. The recent names linked with the show are those of leading singers Mohit Chauhan and Neeti Mohan. The crooners are going to recreate the title track with their singing along with playing the role of 'sutradhar' for the upcoming episodes. The duo also has sung together before in the films 'Hawaizaada' and 'Bombay Velvet'.
While it is a first attempt for Chauhan in the front on television as a narrator, Neeti Mohan finds herself in a familiar position with the camera. In addition to film playback singing, Chauhan has also participated in singing talent shows as a judge. Further, Neeti has also acted in director, Imtiaz Ali’s film, 'Socha Na Tha'.
Actor Vikrant Messy hosted the first season followed by Rithvik Dhanjani in the second season of the show. Rapper Maddy is currently hosting the tele-series, which deals with unconventional love stories. According to the sources, the next season of the show will probably commence in the last week of February.
