MUMBAI: Featuring Priyanka Chopra, the ‘Maya Thagni Nach Nachave’ song from ‘Jai Gangaajal’ movie released on 22 February 2016.

This is an upcoming Bollywood action drama movie starring Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Jha and Manav Kaul. Written and directed by Prakash Jha, this film is the sequel of the movie Gangaajal which was released in 2003.

The song is sung by singer Pravesh Mallick, the lyricist is Manoj Muntashir and the music is composed by the music duo Salim-Sulaiman. The film’s other track ‘Tetua’ was published on 17 February, which has more than two Lakhs views on YouTube, so we thought of exploring the second number that was released on YouTube on 22 February, Monday.

This is an uplifting and motivational track that features Hindi lyrics, and is beautifully sung by Pravesh Mallick. Mallick, a follower of Padma Shri Pandit Madhup Mudgal, is a lead singer of Sufi rock fusion band ‘Sanidhya’. He has been working as a composer-singer for the last 12 years.

According to the lyricist Manoj Muntashir, it was a relief to create such a number which is unlike usual Bollywood love songs. This is a song that will leave you inspired and empowered to do well, he avers. The track beautifully complements the journey of the characters.
