MUMBAI: 'Jee Karda' singer Divya Kumar is in a happy zone at present as the talented man got an opportunity to work with music composer duo, Salim-Sulaiman.
Kumar, who has worked with well-known composers like Amit Trivedi, Sachin-Jigar and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, had been waiting to work with Salim-Sulaiman. Hence, when 'Bindu Baadar' from 'Jai Gangaajal' came his way he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
"I had been wanting to meet Salim-Sulaiman from my struggling days. But, it was only now that I happened to meet them. It was a great feeling to work with them because I am a huge fan of their work," said the 'Aafton Ke Parindey' singer.
'Bindu Baadar' has received a different musical treatment. It has a mix of folk and EDM. However, its reach is limited to the film as it is a situational song. When quizzed about taking up a song with a minimum scope of growth in the music space, Kumar said, "Yes, the song plays during a fight sequence but I was not at all skeptical about taking it up. In fact, I am glad to be a part of this album as some real big names are associated with it."
Kumar has also lent his voice for a lot of jingles, the latest being the 'Idea' and 'Amazon' ad campaigns.
'Jai Gangaajal' released today.
