Get Nostalgic with 'Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai'

If you grew up in India in the '90s, you should be familiar with the theme song from Doordarshan’s blockbuster TV series Jungle Book, ‘Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai’. The tune's earliest composer and lyricist, Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar, have recreated the song with a new-fangled set of young voices. Sung by Jia Wadkar, Yuvika Chaudhury, Abhirup Dass, Vatsala Mishra, Shaksham Karia, Rashi Salil Harmalkar, Avishkar Yogesh Khot and Oushnik Majumdar, the song is back to make you feel nostalgic.

Take a look at the old song:

Now, to endorse the forthcoming Hollywood version of Rudyard Kipling's classic fiction, directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), a new version of that classic jingle has been released by the creators. Based on Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale blockbuster by the same name, you’ll be able to watch ‘The Jungle Book’, the wild adventure into theatres in 3D on April 8, 2016.
There is some uncertainty whether the Hindi version of the song will be part of the Hollywood film ‘The Jungle Book’ or it will be used as promotional material, but with superior actors like Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar and Priyanka lending their voices to the dubbed version, it may seem reasonable. This is certain that this remarkable track will make you nostalgic. For the 90’s kids, Mowgli was their endearing hero. Legendary poet-writer Gulzar and music director created the magic again!
