MUMBAI: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, who is coming up with a realistic movie based on the life of dacoit Veerappan, released an item song from the film on Friday.

RGV, along with Sachin Joshi, launched the 'raunchy number' in New Delhi. The song has some lyrics as 'Lalla Lalla Lori', 'Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai Veerappan Khoon Karne Ko Nikla hai'. The famous dialogue from the film 'Sholay' has been improvised with the word Veerappan, 'Pachas Pachas Kos Door Jab Gaon Mein Bacha Rota Hai to Maa kehti Hai soja warna Veerappan Ajayga'

The film is based on the Operation Cocoon to capture or kill Indian bandit Veerappan who was wanted on charges of murder, kidnapping, poaching and smuggling. The onscreen Veerappan is played by Sandeep Bharadwaj.

The trailer of the film with some hard hitting dialogues and tag lines as 'It took 10 years to kill Osama Bin Laden and it took 20 years to kill Veerappan' justifies the story of the life of Veerappan. The film is the Hindi remake of the already released Telugu movie 'Killing Veerappan' written and directed by RGV himself.

The film is scheduled to release on 27 May 2016.
